For those who are unfamiliar with the term PACA, it stands for Polling Agent, Counting Agent. Basically what PACAs do is to act as impartial, independent agents who will serve as an observer - the eyes and ears in every polling station, in every polling stream. You will observe the Election Comission (EC) personnel and make sure that everything is done in strict accordance to the law. It is not difficult to be trained as a PACA, nor does it mean that you support a particular political party if you serve as their PACA. How this works is that we, ROSE, will give you the relevant training, after which you are free to volunteer as PACAs with any political party of your choice.
