Why did you decide to enter politics?
Because I want to be in a government and change the policy that is not relevant to every Malaysians and uphold justice society by practising a good governance. As a young adult, I would like to be an example to them so that they may open up their mind towards their country and society’s future.
What is the fondest memory you have of your childhood?
Being with my parent at paddy farm and stay overnight there during school holiday. We catch small fishes, grasshoppers, frogs, crabs and shrimps for dinner. The world was very enjoyable during those days.
If you are elected as our ADUN, which is the biggest issue that you would like to tackle first in YOUR constituency and how would you do it?
Education. I will start with a project called “Rural Fun School” to introduce basic education for children under 5 years old who are not accessible to kindergarten.
What is your favourite Sarawakian food or drink?=
I still like roasted tempoyak with shrimps that my mother prepared during my childhood time. The taste is great and memorable to me and of course, it’s delicious taste.
Describe the Sarawak you want to see in 10 years.
No more any dark villages since the construction of Bakun Electricity mega dam is built and ready for electricity supply. There will be no oppression of the native Sarawakian over their NCR Land too. Everyone will has their right to work on their ancestral land for either farming or plantation without any redundant claim with any 3rd party. I wish to see more young professionals working in various field of skilful job which will prosper them financially and socially.
Is there anything else you want to say to young voters?
Vote for change. The power is in your hand. You can decide what best for your future without fear and with no doubt. Sarawak is a rich state with abundant natural resources. Somehow we are one of the poorest state due to bad governance and unjust economic distribution.
